We are seeking dedicated Emotional Support Companions to join our platform as independent contractors, offering vital non-clinical, non-romantic emotional support to users. This adaptable, fully remote role allows you to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by listening, checking in, and fostering a sense of connection through text-based communication, with optional voice and video interactions.
As an Independent Emotional Support Companion, you will:
- Provide ongoing, proactive, and compassionate emotional support to assigned users.
- Engage actively by listening attentively and responding thoughtfully to user communications.
- Initiate check-ins to maintain consistent support and connection.
- Adhere strictly to clear safety and conduct guidelines, ensuring a supportive and respectful environment.
- Manage your own schedule, enjoying the freedom to balance work with personal commitments.
It is crucial to understand that this role is _not_ therapy, counseling, dating, or anything sexual. It focuses purely on platonic, emotional companionship. This is a revenue-share opportunity, not a salaried employment position.



Companions earn 50% of what their users pay each month, plus 80% of any tips received. Typical part-time earnings range from $300 to $1,000+ per month, varying based on the number of users supported and engagement levels. You will operate under Elynn’s Independent Contractor Agreement and platform Terms.

Essential Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Residency in the United States, Canada, or Mexico is required.
- Exceptional empathy and a genuine desire to connect with and support others.
- High level of reliability and commitment to providing consistent support to users.
- Excellent communication skills, with comfort and fluency in English (written communication primarily, with optional verbal).
- Ability to understand and strictly adhere to clear safety and conduct guidelines.
- Comfort operating as an independent contractor, managing your own schedule and workload.
- Access to a stable internet connection and a suitable device for online communication.
