**As a Product Design Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of product design engineers focused on developing advanced mechanical and electrical connectivity solutions for the automotive industry. You will drive innovation from concept to implementation, ensuring designs meet quality, cost, and timeline expectations.**

**What You Will Do**
- Lead engineering projects and teams, managing plans, schedules, budgets, and resources to deliver innovative solutions on time and within scope.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives, design standards, and policies that enhance quality and efficiency.
- Assess risk, ensure regulatory and policy compliance, and balance business objectives with cost management.
- Optimize workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflows to maximize operational effectiveness.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 5+ years of product design experience.
- Experience providing technical mentoring to engineers.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Proven experience managing multiple engineering projects (planning, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing).
**What Will Put You Ahead**
- 15+ years of product design experience, including 8+ years leading teams and projects
- Automotive industry experience (ideally with electrical connector design).
- Strong knowledge of resins, metals, engineering tools and processes, and manufacturing (injection molding, stamping, plating, assembly).
- Experience developing and implementing strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
- Knowledge of risk assessment and regulatory compliance processes.
