**Your Job**
As the Equipment & Maintenance Supervisor at Molex Guadalajara El Salto, you will lead the Maintenance department to ensure operational reliability and efficiency of production equipment. Your role focuses on managing key performance indicators, driving cost reduction strategies, overseeing safety compliance, and developing a high-performing technical team. You will play a critical role in optimizing resources and elevating machine performance through strategic maintenance and continuous improvement projects.
**Our Team**
You will be part of the OSCO division, working closely with the Manufacturing Manager and collaborating with internal teams such as the Design Center and external customers. Our team is committed to maintaining high standards of equipment availability and operational excellence within a cutting-edge optics capability environment.
**What You Will Do**
- Lead and manage the maintenance department, including staffing, training, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and skilled team.
- Drive maintenance projects aimed at improving equipment efficiency, reliability, and introducing new technical capabilities.
- Oversee spare parts inventory and implement cost-reduction initiatives to optimize maintenance operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, including ISO 9000 and electrical installation validations.
- Monitor and report key maintenance KPIs such as downtime (DT), mean time to repair (MTTR), and mean time between failures (MTBF) to guide operational decisions.
- Collaborate closely with the Design Center to identify and implement machine performance improvements.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical and operational issues impacting equipment availability.
- Evaluate and develop supplier performance to maintain quality and reliability standards.




**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required), preferably in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Electromechanical fields.
- Strong proven experience in automation or maintenance supervision roles.
- Conversational level of English with strong problem-solving skills using methodologies such as 8D, PDCA, and 5W.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement maintenance structures, including systems and workflows.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Background in automation and industrial process control.
- Green Belt certification in process improvement or Lean Six Sigma.
- Experience working in electronics manufacturing or optical production environments.
- Advanced skills in budget management and cost optimization related to maintenance operations.
- Proven analytical capability in interpreting maintenance data and KPIs to drive improvements.
