_This position reports directly to the Controller and works closely with an external accounting and tax firm. The role is responsible for ensuring that all accounting transactions are properly recorded, reconciled, and ready for accurate internal reporting and statutory compliance._
- The Accountant plays a critical role in maintaining clean, timely, and reliable financial information to support management and corporate requirements._
- Key Responsibilities_
- _Record and classify accounting transactions for internal financial reporting purposes._
- _Maintain general ledger activity and support the monthly close process, including accruals and reconciliations._
- _Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis for management review._
- _Process Accounts Payable and coordinate vendor payments, including payment approvals coordination with U.S. headquarters._
- _Support Accounts Receivable activities including invoicing, customer balances, and collections follow-up._
- _Serve as the primary operational liaison with the external accounting and tax firm, providing information, responding to inquiries,



and reviewing their work for consistency and accuracy._
- _Coordinate CFDI, VAT, and statutory information with the external firm to ensure timely filings._
- _Support audits, documentation requests, and periodic financial reviews._
- _Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation._
- _Perform additional accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by the Controller._
- Minimum Qualifications_
- _Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is mandatory; other degrees will not be considered._
- _3 years of accounting experience in a multinational environment, including foreign currency transactions._
- _Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close._
- _Experience working with electronic invoicing (CFDI) and general Mexican tax concepts._
- _English proficiency with the ability to communicate with U.S. headquarters as necessary._
- _Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to meet deadlines._
