We are a U.S.based intellectual property law firm seeking a **highly organized, bilingual Patent Engineering Assistant** to support patent attorneys and interact directly with English
- and Spanish-speaking clients. This is a **full-time, long-term remote position** based in Puebla, Mexico.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct prior art and patentability searches
- Organize technical disclosures, figures, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate filings, deadlines, and correspondence related to USPTO procedures
- Provide general administrative and technical support to the patent team
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in **Engineering** (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or related technical field)
- **Advanced English proficiency** (spoken and written) - must be comfortable on live calls
- Strong Spanish communication skills
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment




- Professional demeanor with clients and internal team members
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Prior experience in patents, intellectual property, or technical documentation
- Familiarity with USPTO procedures or patent databases (Espacenet, Google Patents, etc.)
- Experience in client-facing or remote professional roles
- Comfortable learning new systems and legal workflows
**Compensation & Work Structure**
- **Salary: 30,000 - 40,000 MXN per month**, based on experience
- Full-time, long-term position
- Fully remote (based in Puebla, Mexico)
