**What You'll Do?**
As the Maintenance Group Leader, you will be responsible for a small to medium group of maintenance employees. You will manage the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities aligned with standard GM maintenance systems.
**Work Appropriately**
On Site: This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis
**Responsibilities**
- You will conduct appropriate checks and tests and communicate evaluation of results.
- Recommends solutions to problems
- Responsible for preventative maintenance and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions
- Meets schedule and quality requirements
- Complies with the terms of local and national labor agreements
- Implements divisional and corporate policies and safety and good housekeeping practices
- Maintain frequent contact and collaboration with others outside of the work group
- Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipment
- Establishes a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project. Has knowledge and ability to implement GMS principles.
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or any related engineering field, or relevant experience.- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within maintenance or manufacturing environments (2-5 years preferred).
- Intermediate level of English, with the ability to hold a technical conversation.
- Availability and flexibility to work rotating shifts (4x3 schedule).
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Proven experience leading work teams
- Experience with CNC Machining, PLCs, and electrical system
- Knowledge of FANUC and Siemens CNC controls
- Strong teamwork skills
- Familiarity with PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, and Siemens.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Understanding of robotic cell configurations, automation systems, and basic robot programming or handling.
