- Responsible for risk identification, hazards, and control of all areas in the company.
- Communicate to the appropriate person about situations that may endanger product quality, production and / or safety in the work area and environmental issues.
- Performs investigation of accidents and incidents, notifies, and follows up on prevention and occurrence activities within established time frames.
- Responsible for performing safety and hygiene tours covering all the different areas to detect and correct unsafe acts and conditions.
- Elaboration of the degree of risk of machinery and equipment and follow up of corrections.
- Elaboration and compliance in time of annual list with studies, monitoring and governmental procedures.
- Elaboration of orders and follow-up of work orders to close them before their expiration date.
- Support for compliance with legal requirements for safety, health, and environment.
- Support governmental inspections.
- Responsible for assigning activities and work plan of the safety technician.
- Support in conjunction with the Safety and Hygiene engineer (legal) to guide and advise departments on compliance with legal requirements.
- Preparation of reports on the progress of compliance activities.
- Coordination of emergency brigades.
- Planning, development, and evaluation of emergency drills.
- Elaboration of documentation related to industrial safety,



both for regulatory and internal compliance, such as procedures, lists, training, etc.
- Evaluation and authorization of risk works such as heights, electrical installations, cutting and welding.
- Responsible for coverage and content of induction courses.
- Responsible for the Health and Safety Commission.
- Support in departmental activities.
- Waste management, disposal, and control.
Experiência y requisitos
- Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Renewable Energies, Chemical Engineering, or another career related to the position.
- English 60% conversational and written.
- Elaboration of industrial safety procedures
