About the RoleA growing U.S.-based Family Law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Paralegal / Case Manager to take meaningful ownership of complex Florida family law matters.This is a senior-level role for a legal professional who goes beyond completing assigned tasks. The idóneo candidate understands the full picture of each case, anticipates attorney needs, identifies potential issues, manages deadlines proactively, and helps move cases forward with strong judgment and initiative.You will work directly with experienced attorneys and play an important role in case preparation, discovery, financial analysis, client communication, and the continued development of internal workflows and processes.Key ResponsibilitiesCase Management & Attorney SupportMaintain a comprehensive understanding of assigned cases, including facts, procedural status, discovery, financial matters, deadlines, and outstanding needs.Proactively monitor cases and identify missing information, upcoming deadlines, and potential issues.Prepare attorneys for mediations, hearings, depositions, and trials.Create case chronologies, issue summaries, discovery summaries, financial summaries, exhibit lists, and supporting materials.Track cases from intake through resolution and ensure important deadlines and tasks are not overlooked.Legal Document PreparationDraft and prepare initial filings, pleadings, motions, notices, and other court documents.Prepare and review financial affidavits and supporting documentation.Assist with marital settlement agreements, parenting plans, and settlement-related documents.Draft discovery requests, responses, subpoenas,
deficiency correspondence, and related materials.Review documents for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and attention to detail.Financial & Discovery ReviewReview financial affidavits, income documentation, expenses, assets, liabilities, bank records, and opposing-party disclosures.Identify inconsistencies, omissions, unusual transactions, incomplete responses,
and settlement-related documents.Strong experience reviewing financial disclosures and identifying inconsistencies or missing information.Experience preparing attorneys for mediations, hearings, depositions, and/or trials.Hands-on experience with the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal.Experience with Florida county-specific filing and hearing scheduling procedures.Strong written and verbal English communication skills.Exceptional organization, attention to detail, judgment, and deadline management.Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong communication with attorneys and team members.Ability to manage multiple active cases and competing priorities.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Clio.Experience with SharePoint.Experience creating or improving legal procedures, templates, workflows, and checklists.Previous experience training, mentoring,
or supervising paralegals or legal support professionals.Experience working in a growing U.S. law firm where initiative and independent judgment are highly valued.Adecuado CandidateYou are proactive, detail-oriented, and confident taking ownership of your cases.You do not wait to be told what needs attention.
