Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Develops strategic initiatives oriented to meet or exceed department goals .
Responsible to ensure material availability base on production and demand forecasts able to determine and adjust parameter in MRP .
Handles part and engineering changes, avoiding obsolescence and material gaps, as per ECR, MCR or similar .
Anticipates customer's needs .
Able to handle Min Max and discrete purchase as well as VMI accounts .
Solve in major situations related to procurement, material control and planning .
Sets controls and limits in metrics to ensure and avoid going out of control .
Analyze and control the materials according to their inventory classification .
Evaluates material forecast vs vigente deliveries .
Takes leader's role when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements: Advanced English level.
SAP proficient (desirable).
