Procurement Specialist

Are you experienced in purchasing, inventory management, and purchase orders, and ready for a role where your decisions can directly impact product availability and operational performance?
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join a growing purchasing team and help ensure the right products are available at the right time across multiple distribution centers.

This role goes beyond simply creating purchase orders.

You will be expected to analyze inventory data, identify replenishment needs, work directly with vendors, and turn purchasing insights into clear actions that support availability, forecasting, and service levels.

What You’ll Be Doing

Execute vendor purchases and generate accurate Purchase Orders

Manage PO confirmations and follow up on late purchase orders

Monitor inventory availability and replenishment needs

Analyze fill rate, weeks on hand, inventory turns, and inventory balance

Review purchasing and inventory reports to identify required buying actions

Support forecasting through demand trends, safety stock, and service-level analysis

Identify inbound freight and purchasing opportunities that improve efficiency

Communicate directly with vendors, sales teams, purchasing, and operations

Provide product availability and shortage updates to internal teams

Support inventory performance across multiple distribution centers

What We’re Looking For

Hands-on experience working with Purchase Orders and purchasing processes





Experience communicating and following up directly with vendors

Understanding of inventory, replenishment, and product availability

Strong analytical skills and the ability to make decisions based on reports and data

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office

High attention to detail and consistent follow-through

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy

Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Collaborative and proactive mindset

Previous experience with Purchase Orders is especially important for this role, as the team considers prior exposure to a purchasing environment a key requirement.
