What will you do: Support the Fasteners Standardization initiatives focused on component standardization, data cleanup, and lifecycle management projects related to fasteners and mechanical components. Learn and apply engineering standards, drawing interpretation, and best practices for mechanical component selection and management. Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, and product development teams to support modernization and optimization of the component database. What qualifications will make you successful: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Design, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. Available to complete an internship of at least 6 months (with potential to renew another 6 months) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Basic understanding of mechanical components and engineering principles. Ability to analyze information, organize data, and pay attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Intermediate to advanced English proficiency. What skills and capabilities will make you successful? Required: Basic understanding of the English and Metric measurement systems. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Interest to learn engineering drawings and mechanical standards and component specifications. Proficiency with Excel and basic data analysis. Written and verbal communication skills in English Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn technical concepts Preferred: Familiarity with PLM systems (Teamcenter, Windchill, or similar) Basic knowledge of torque, preload, material properties, or mechanical design principles, and manufacturing processes. Exposure to Industry standards such as ASME, SAE or ASTM.
