We’re Hiring: Accounting Specialist & Consultant

Location: Colombia, Mexico, or Argentina – Remote

We’re looking for an Accounting Specialist & Consultant to join our CAS (Client Accounting Services) function and take ownership of reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting, and accounting quality across multiple client accounts.

What you’ll do

- Manage complex reconciliations, including bank, credit card, loans, AR/AP clearing, merchant accounts, and payroll liabilities.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, historical accounting issues, and bookkeeping errors.
- Lead and improve monthly close processes across multiple client entities.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Analyze financial trends, margins, cash flow, variances, and unusual activity.
- Review the work of staff accountants and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Identify recurring issues and help improve accounting workflows and processes.

• Maintain and improve accounting structures within QuickBooks Online (QBO) and related applications.





- Help ensure client financials are accurate, reliable, and ready for decision-making.

What we’re looking for

• 3–7+ years of accounting experience , preferably in CAS, bookkeeping, or public accounting with a strong bookkeeping foundation.

- Strong understanding of financial statements and balance sheet integrity.

• Advanced experience with complex reconciliations and month-end close.

- Experience managing accounting for multiple clients or entities.

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) .

- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills, including pivots, analysis, and supporting schedules.
- Ability to identify root causes of accounting issues—not just fix the symptoms.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience reviewing work or mentoring junior accountants is highly preferred.
