About the Role
Impact Advisors Mexico is seeking an Epic Orders Associate to support clinical order management workflows and healthcare technology solutions for U.S. healthcare organizations.
This role is idóneo for professionals with experience in clinical operations, nursing, pharmacy, laboratory services, healthcare IT, EHR/EMR systems, or healthcare technology who are interested in developing expertise in Epic and healthcare consulting.
Epic Orders experience or certification is not required to apply.
What You'll Do
· Support clinical order management workflows within Epic.
· Analyze application requests, incidents, and workflow issues related to order entry and order management.
· Support application configuration, testing, validation, and implementation activities.
· Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to understand workflow requirements and translate them into application solutions.
· Support workflows related to laboratory orders, imaging orders, medication orders, procedures, and other clinical requests.
· Investigate application issues, identify potential root causes, and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
· Participate in testing and quality assurance activities for system enhancements.
· Support workflow analysis, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Create and maintain application documentation, workflow materials, and support resources.
· Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, laboratory personnel, operational stakeholders, and technical teams supporting U.S. healthcare clients.
· Support implementation, upgrade, and enhancement activities.
· Maintain accurate documentation of issues, requirements, testing activities, and resolutions.
Required Qualifications
· 1–3 years of professional experience in healthcare, clinical operations, nursing, pharmacy, laboratory services, healthcare IT, EHR/EMR support,
or a related environment.
· Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
· Experience working with healthcare information systems, clinical applications, EHR/EMR platforms, or ticketing/support environments.
· Understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to understand complex workflows and translate operational needs into practical solutions.
· Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Ability to work effectively with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
· Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Epic or another EHR/EMR platform.
· Epic Orders experience or certification.
· Experience supporting computerized provider order entry (CPOE) workflows.
· Experience with laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, or procedural workflows.
· Experience supporting physicians, nurses, pharmacists, laboratory personnel, or clinical staff.
· Healthcare technology or consulting experience.
· U.S. healthcare experience.
· Experience participating in EHR implementations, upgrades, testing, or optimization initiatives.
