Role Description The Manufacturing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Saltillo, COA. This role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and documenting manufacturing processes for composite and polymer aerospace components, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include creating work instructions, specifying tooling and fixtures, supporting machining and assembly operations, and troubleshooting production issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The Manufacturing

Engineer will analyze production data, implement continuous improvement initiatives, support root-cause analysis for nonconformities, and contribute to cost and time reduction projects. The role also involves close coordination with design engineering,



quality, and operations to ensure new products are smoothly transitioned into stable, scalable production.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Manufacturing Engineering and Manufacturing Processes, with experience in process development and optimization for production environments.
- Background in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to workflow design, ergonomics, and productivity improvement.
- Hands-on experience with Machining operations, tooling, and fixtures, preferably in aerospace or similarly regulated industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and root-cause analysis tools (e.g., PDCA, 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams).
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM tools and basic drawing interpretation, including GD&T; and technical specifications.
- Ability to work on-site in a production environment, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing sectors, and understanding of quality systems and safety standards, is beneficial.
