Mobile Automation Engineer / Mobile SDET

Location: Benito Juárez, Mexico City, Mexico

Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week

Employment: Full Time

Salary: MXN 80,000 Gross/Month

Description:

We are hiring a Mobile Automation Engineer / Mobile SDET to join our engineering team in Benito Juárez, Mexico City .

We are looking for a hands-on QA automation professional with strong experience testing iOS or Android mobile applications . You will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test solutions, improving test coverage, and ensuring the quality and reliability of mobile applications.

What You'll Do

- Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation test scripts and frameworks .
- Automate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for iOS and/or Android applications .
- Create and execute comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders .
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines .




- Analyze automation results and investigate test failures.
- Continuously improve automation coverage, stability, and execution efficiency.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to overall quality initiatives.

Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Mobile SDET, Mobile Automation Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, or similar role .
- Strong hands-on experience testing iOS or Android mobile applications .
- Experience with mobile automation tools/frameworks such as Appium, XCUITest, Espresso , or equivalent.
- Strong programming experience with at least one language:
- Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Swift, or Kotlin .
- Experience creating and maintaining automated test frameworks .
- Good understanding of mobile application testing and QA methodologies.
- Experience with API testing .
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD .
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment .
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Good English communication skills .
