The Opportunity
At The Standard, the night has its own rhythm.

- Act as the senior point of contact for guests, colleagues, and overnight partners.
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and unexpected situations with professionalism and good judgment.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Security, Engineering, and Food & Beverage teams.
- Oversee late arrivals, VIP guests, room moves, wake-up calls, and early departures.
- Ensure all overnight procedures, safety protocols,
and security standards are followed.
- Review daily reports, operational logs, and financial information with accuracy.
- Support the Night Audit process and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
- Complete thorough handovers to the morning team, ensuring continuity across shifts.
- Lead, support, and motivate overnight colleagues, creating a calm and confident working environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve the guest experience and the way the hotel operates after dark.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in a Night Manager, Duty Manager, Front Office Manager, or similar hotel leadership role.
- Experience in a luxury lifestyle hotel or high-energy hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of Front Office and overnight hotel operations.
- Calm decision-making skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- A natural instinct for hospitality and a genuine interest in people.
- Strong attention to detail, without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to confidently engage with an international clientele.
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- A confident, curious, and personable approach that feels right at home at The Standard.
If you know how to keep the energy going after dark, stay cool when the unexpected happens, and make every guest feel looked after at any hour, we’d love to hear from you.
