Senior NetSuite Developer The Senior NetSuite Developer is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing advanced NetSuite customizations and integrations to support complex business processes. This role requires deep expertise in SuiteScript (1.0/2.x/2.1), NetSuite APIs, workflows, and overall ERP architecture. The senior developer collaborates closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and cross‑platform teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high‑performing NetSuite solutions.

Requirements

Must have

- Expert in SuiteScript 1.0 / 2.0 / 2.1.
- Strong JavaScript and/or TypeScript knowledge.
- Experience with SuiteFlow, XML, JSON, and HTML/CSS.
- Strong API development skills (RESTlet, SuiteTalk/SOAP).
- Knowledge of SQL, data transformation, and integration patterns.
- Understanding of OAuth 2.0 or token-based authentication.

Professional Experience

- 4–6+ years of hands-on NetSuite development.
- Experience delivering NetSuite custom modules end‑to‑end: analysis → design → development → deployment.
- Proven track record integrating NetSuite with external platforms (billing systems, frontend apps, dashboards, etc.).

Responsibilities





- Design and develop complex customizations using SuiteScript (Suitelet, Client Script, User Event, Map/Reduce, Scheduled Scripts).
- Create and optimize forms, fields, saved searches, business rules, and UI components to support operational efficiency.
- Develop Suitelet-based applications and interfaces integrated with NetSuite where needed.
- Support migration of connectors or legacy scripts into modern NetSuite frameworks.
- Perform detailed analysis of business requirements and define technical solutions aligned with best practices.
- Collaborate in architectural design for custom modules, data flows, and scalable automation.
- Develop and automate processes for financial, sales, order management, or operational modules.
- Implement scripts for data correction, validation, and optimization.
- Ensure code efficiency, maintainability, and adherence to NetSuite development standards.
- Participate in code reviews, unit tests, and defect resolution activities.
- Produce technical documentation, deployment steps, integration maps, and support guides.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership on NetSuite best practices.
- Address production issues, optimize performance, and troubleshoot complex user‑reported problems.
