The Senior Accountant may review monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations prepared by Staff Accountants.
The individual will be responsible for analyzing monthly variances in the P&L; and Balance Sheet and reporting the results to management.
Critical thinking is "key" as the individual must be able to articulate the "why" behind variances, as well as the mechanics.
Prepare ad-hoc analysis around account balance differences along with proposed solutions to resolve; and ensure accuracy andcompliance of financial statement schedules in accordance with US GAAP and internal policies.What You'll DoReview, analyze and prepare monthly journal entries for month end closePrepare detailed balance sheet account reconciliations,
