Vertiv has a transformational opportunity for a Procurement Excellence Operations Analyst who will be a key partner for the Americas Procurement team, including Commodity Management, Supplier Management and Procurement Operations. is responsible for coordinating and expediting Commercial Change Order (CCO) activities under Procurement to ensure timely completion, supplier responsiveness, and adherence to established service level agreements. This role serves as a key liaison among suppliers, Category Managers, Engineering, MDM and Procurement, and other stakeholders to drive the completion of sourcing requirements, supplier quotations, and change management activities.

This role also monitors supplier RFQs, conducts follow-ups and escalations, conducts regular cadence calls with internal and external stakeholders and ensures accurate documentation and tracking of updates per CCO and part numbers affected. The role also analyzes quote status, identifies bottlenecks and coordinates to implement corrective actions to maintain workflow and efficiency and support business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage and expedite CCO activities under Procurement from sent RFQs through completion.
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, confirmations, and required sourcing information. Uses both Spanish and English language to communicate.
- Conduct proactive follow-ups and escalations to ensure timely supplier responses.
- Review Change Orders and validate completeness of documentation and requirements.
- Coordinates with Category Managers for pending approvals and help needed on critical part numbers under the CCO process
- Provide regular updates of the team’s various KPI dashboards to ensure its completeness and accuracy
- Collaborate with Category Managers, Engineering, MDM, and Procurement teams to resolve issues and drive closure.
- Promote quality governance to mitigate escalations from stakeholders
- Maintain trackers, dashboards, and reports related to Change Order performance and aging.
- Provide solutions and sound recommendation to stakeholder/supplier’s queries & problems
- Records and submits periodic transaction records, log sheets/trackers and slide decks
- Communicates with the team on best practices, lessons learned, process and product updates during team huddles/meetings
- Able to identify opportunities and resolutions to challenges. Provide sound recommendations to leaders and/or stakeholders by translating, enhancing, and consolidating information into forms that can be used for decision making




- Participate during business overview presentations and KPI reporting to business partners.
- Lead the conference calls, meetings, and discussions with stakeholders/suppliers.
- Analyze process metrics and provide recommendations to improve SLA performance and operational efficiency.
- Co-Lead or Lead or support process improvement projects and automation initiatives.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to junior team members.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, sourcing requirements, and quality standards
- Serve as back-up for next level similar or related function for business continuity• Assist in conducting functional training for peers.
- Fulfil other reasonable duties as required.
- Lead the revision of existing process documents.
- Support in the creation of business requirement documents and other functional and technical documentations,

QUALIFICATIONS

- 1-4 years of experience in supply chain analysis or related roles, preferably in the HVAC industry or a similar manufacturing
- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, supply chain management, business, or related field.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Minimum of 2 years of analytical experience performing detailed analyses.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with supplier outreach/communications.
- Experience with SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Smartsheets.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and results-driven.
- Motivated problem solver.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous requests and projects.
- Ability to work in a fluid environment without closer supervision.
- Competent within the business domain and have knowledge of business principles and business solutions.
- Able to work in a team setting and assist stakeholders in articulating problems and opportunities, establishing viable testing plans and reaching agreement on a quality future state.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

- The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.
- Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits.




- Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.
