The Purchasing Engineer – Investment / Supplies will support the procurement of investments, equipment, services, and operating supplies required for the startup and ongoing operation of the manufacturing plant. The position will work closely with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely acquisition, cost control, and proper implementation.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage purchasing activities for capital investments, equipment, services, and operating supplies.
- Source, evaluate, and develop suppliers according to business requirements.
- Request and analyze quotations, technical specifications, costs, and delivery schedules.
- Negotiate commercial conditions and support cost-reduction initiatives.
- Issue and follow up on purchase orders and contracts.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Finance, and other departments.
- Support the purchasing of equipment, tooling, facilities-related items, and plant supplies during startup.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery, and compliance with requirements.
- Support purchasing process implementation and continuous improvement.
- Maintain purchasing documentation, records, and reports.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement,



sourcing, or a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with capital investments, equipment, services, or industrial supplies.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and project follow-up skills.
- Experience with ERP systems; SAP.
- Intermediate Excel.
- English is indispensable.
- Availability to work in a plant startup environment.
