Overview A Senior SAP PP Consultant is required to support manufacturing operations, troubleshoot functional issues, and drive continuous improvement across production planning and execution processes. The role offers Remote or Hybrid flexibility depending on candidate proximity to Mexicali and surrounding cities.

Work Arrangement & Location

▪ Remote, with occasional onsite presence in Mexicali

▪ Suitable for candidates based in Mexicali, Tijuana, Ensenada, or Tecate

▪ Candidates must be comfortable supporting local business and manufacturing teams in Spanish

Core Responsibilities

▪ Provide functional SAP PP troubleshooting and production support across manufacturing operations.

▪ Configure, support, and optimize key SAP PP processes including MRP, production planning, production orders, capacity planning, and shop-floor execution.

▪ Analyze production-related issues, identify root causes, and coordinate functional resolutions with technical and business teams.

▪ Support integration between SAP PP and other modules such as MM, SD, QM, and CO.

▪ Lead and participate in structured testing cycles including SIT and UAT,



ensuring proper documentation and defect resolution.

▪ Work closely with manufacturing, warehouse, procurement, quality, and IT teams to validate solutions and maintain operational continuity.

▪ Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements based on business requirements.

Mandatory Skills

▪ Strong hands-on functional experience in SAP PP.

▪ Solid understanding of production planning and manufacturing processes.

▪ Experience with MRP, production orders, BOMs, work centers, routings, and capacity planning.

▪ Strong troubleshooting and production-support capabilities.

▪ Spanish fluency for daily communication with local teams.

▪ Ability to work effectively in hybrid or remote environments, with occasional onsite requirements in Mexicali.

Preferred Experience – Nice to Have

▪ Experience with SAP S/4HANA PP.

▪ Knowledge of MRP Live / Advanced Planning.

▪ Exposure to SAP PP-PI or discrete manufacturing environments.

▪ Understanding of integration with SAP MM, QM, CO, and WM/EWM.

▪ Experience with shop-floor processes and production execution.

▪ Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications related to production planning and execution.
