About the Role

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer with strong Scala experience to join a technology team focused on building and supporting modern, scalable applications.

This role is idóneo for an engineer with a strong software development foundation who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working with modern backend technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an international environment.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Scala, along with a solid understanding of backend development, APIs, integrations, and scalable software architecture.

What You’ll Do

- Design, develop, test, and maintain reliable and scalable software solutions.
- Build and enhance backend applications and services using Scala.
- Develop and maintain APIs and integrations between applications and services.
- Contribute to the design and development of scalable and maintainable systems.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and identify opportunities to improve application performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Work within modern development environments using version control, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.




- Support continuous improvement of existing applications, architecture, and development processes.

What We’re Looking For

- Professional software development experience with strong hands-on Scala experience.
- Solid background in backend and/or full-stack development.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and web services.
- Understanding of modern software architecture, distributed systems, and/or microservices.
- Experience working with databases and data-driven applications.
- Familiarity with automated testing, version control, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within distributed and cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with one or more of the following would be a plus:
- Java or Go
- AWS or other cloud platforms
- Kafka
- Spark
- Microservices and distributed architectures
- High-volume or highly scalable applications
