We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to develop sourcing strategies, strengthen supplier relationships, and improve material availability and cost performance across our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization

- Develop and execute sourcing plans for critical raw materials, components, and services.
- Analyze spending, pricing, and purchasing trends to identify cost savings and supplier consolidation opportunities.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with Quality and Engineering.
- Monitor market conditions, supplier capacity, lead times, and supply chain risks to maintain reliable supply.
- Develop alternative sources for critical materials to reduce supply interruptions.

Supplier Relationship Management

- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, including quality, on-time delivery, lead time, and cost.
- Conduct periodic supplier business reviews and follow up on improvement plans.
- Coordinate the resolution of significant supplier issues with Purchasing, Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Operations.
- Maintain accurate supplier information, pricing, and lead times in the ERP system.
- Collaborate with suppliers on material alternatives, process improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives.

Negotiation & Supplier Agreements





- Prepare and manage RFQs.
- Evaluate quotations based on total cost, quality, delivery, capacity, and commercial terms.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, minimum order quantities, lead times, and supply agreements.
- Coordinate the review and renewal of supplier agreements with the appropriate internal teams.
- Track and report sourcing savings and progress against established goals.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree
- Five or more years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience sourcing industrial raw materials or components; experience in electrical or electronic manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with domestic and international suppliers.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across departments.
- Availability to travel for supplier visits and business needs.
