About Us
At Félix, we are building the indispensable financial companion for Latinos in the US. We combine an AI-powered, conversational-first interface with real-time financial infrastructure to make cross-border money movement as easy as sending a text. Starting with fast, affordable remittances powered by AI and crypto rails, we are expanding into credit, savings, and wallet services to support the complete immigrant financial journey. Our ambition is to deliver a white-glove financial experience with the simplicity of a conversation to a community the traditional financial system has historically overlooked.
We are a hyper-growth Series C company, backed by over $300 million in funding from top-tier integral investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, QED, Castle Island, Switch Ventures, HTwenty, Monashees, General Catalyst Customer Value Fund. This isn't just about the numbers; it's a testament to the trust our investors have in our vision and our team. Additionally, Félix was selected as an “Endeavour Entrepreneur” and was a recipient of the CrossTech Fintech Startups Award.
Joining Félix means you will be part of a team building a legacy, a company that will outlive us all. This is a rare opportunity to apply your skills to a deeply meaningful mission—serving a community that has been underserved for too long because we are obsessed with our customers. We get things done with urgency and focus, driven by extreme ownership over our impact. We collaborate without ego, fostering radical transparency and fierce loyalty so we can grow together. Because we aim for insanely great rather than just good enough, we stay insatiably curious—always experimenting, building the future today, and delivering a product that truly makes our users' lives better.
About the Role
As a member of our team, you will have the unique opportunity to make your mark on the core of our fraud investigations through critical processes that safeguard our platform and its users.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of data analysis, risk management, and operational excellence to detect, investigate, and mitigate fraudulent activities. Your insights and strategic actions will directly influence our ability to prevent fraud, enhance user trust, and streamline our fraud prevention tools. This position offers the chance to collaborate cross-functionally, innovate within evolving challenges, and make a lasting impact on the security of our growing platform.
To be successful in this role, you must be dynamic, data-driven, autonomous, collaborative, curious and inquisitive as we refine fraud detection strategies, enhance existing processes, and build out our fraud operations framework to protect millions of users like never before. You will play a key role in shaping and evolving our fraud prevention platform, ensuring we stay ahead of emerging threats while fostering a secure and trusted experience for all.
Responsibilities

- Work investigation queues and own complex fraud cases end-to-end — offline fraud, suspected rings, coordinated schemes — closing each with a documented MO and evidence trail.
- Analyze transaction and behavioral data to identify fraud patterns that aren't visible at the case level and propose mitigation actions.
- Produce concise investigation reports with findings, evidence, and recommended actions for the Investigations Lead.
- Collaborate with the Operations and Strategy teams on cases that require deeper investigation before a decision can be made.

- Document investigation methodologies so findings are reproducible and learnings stay with the team.
- Participate in ad hoc team projects: Support special projects and initiatives, such as process optimizations, tool enhancements, and fraud prevention campaigns, to continuously strengthen the team’s operational capacity.

Requirements

- Education: Graduation from any Business Major
- Fluent in English (oral & written)
- Experience in Fraud Investigative Roles and Transaction Monitoring
- Experience with G Suite products
- Open to working on weekends
- Good communication skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various schedules
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- SQL and AI basics are a plus
- These are the applicable requisites, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered.

What We Offer

- Gross Monthly Salary: $25,000 MXN
- IMSS, Infonavit, year-end bonus (aguinaldo)
- Above-the-Law Benefits: Includes Performance Bonus, Food and Wifi Vouchers (Vales de Despensa y Teletrabajo), full access to Coursera and 5 extra days of PTO (Paid Time Off).
- Work model: currently fully remote, with a future transition to a hybrid setup.
- Wellness & Medical Program
- Clear and empowering opportunities for professional advancement in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
- A collaborative culture defined by transparency, agility, and customer-centricity.
