The Sr. Manufacturing Industrial Engineering Manager will lead industrial engineering strategy and operational excellence initiatives across a high-growth manufacturing site. This role will oversee a team of industrial engineers and partner closely with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering to improve productivity, optimize processes, reduce costs, and support the implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies.- The idóneo candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on problem-solving skills and has a proven track record of leading Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, productivity, and transformation initiatives in complex manufacturing environments.What You Will Do in This RoleLeadership & Strategy- Lead the Industrial Engineering strategy and develop a high-performing team.- Champion Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.- Partner with site and cross-functional leaders to drive strategic initiatives.Process Optimization- Optimize workflows, material flow, production lines, capacity, and labor utilization.- Lead time studies, line balancing, ergonomic assessments, Kaizen events, and structured problem-solving.- Implement standardized work and data-driven solutions to improve productivity, quality, and throughput.Technology & Innovation- Identify and deploy automation, Industry 4.0, and advanced manufacturing solutions.- Use data analytics, dashboards, and simulation tools to improve plant performance.- Support digital transformation and process modernization.Productivity & Cost Improvement- Drive improvements in labor productivity, cycle time, capacity, throughput, and operating cost.- Lead layout redesigns, capacity planning, capital projects,
ROI analysis, and equipment specifications.- Ensure project benefits are achieved and sustained over time.Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work closely with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering.- Support NPI, equipment installations, production transfers, and plant expansions.- Provide leadership with data-driven recommendations that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.What We’re Looking For:- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.- 8–10 years of experience in Industrial Engineering roles within a manufacturing environment.- Experience in high-mix, complex, or high-volume manufacturing operations is preferred.- Proven experience leading engineering teams, ideally across multiple shifts, sites, or a large-scale operation.- Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.- Demonstrated success leading productivity, capacity, process optimization, and cost-reduction initiatives.- Experience with time studies, line balancing, capacity planning, layout design, standardized work, and ergonomic assessments.- Experience supporting capital projects, automation, equipment installation, NPI, or plant expansion initiatives.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and decision-making skills.- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.- Strong proficiency in data analysis, dashboards, and performance reporting.- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish; bilingual proficiency is required.
