A Snapshot of Your DayAs Project Manager of compressor systems (engineering, maintenance andexecution management) will keep on track and oversee the delivery of projectsincluding budget, quality, safety, performance and schedule requirements aswell as integration of the compressor system.In this role, you'll report to the Latam Head Project Manager andestablish project controls that are in line with & BusinessManagement Systems.
You'll also direct, lead and motivate your project team andsupplier (shared responsibility with sourcing manager) to deliver successfully,helping to drive our energy transformation efforts.Evaluating and commenting on customer specifications, cost calculations,and transport/erection quantities within your respective scope are part of yourdaily business.
You will compile the request for quotation documents for thecontractor, evaluate and compare incoming offers, and negotiate withcontractors until contract readiness with your team.How You'll Make an Impact- You will have an impact on the success of projects,with full responsibility for cost, quality, and schedule across proposals andproject execution, primarily in supplier and contract management activities.
- Evaluate customer contract (specifications andrequirements), prepare technical specifications and inquiry documents- Support Contract management and negotiation are withinyour responsibilities as well- Coordination and optimization of system interfaces(process, mechanical, piping, electrical, I&C; (Instrumentation andControl), layout, civil and structural)- During project execution, you are responsible forfulfilling contractors' time schedules, quality, and costs, reviewing thecontractor's design and quality documentation,



and coordinating the contractorwith project and site requirementsWhat You Bring- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or similar Collegedegree- You have already gained several years of professionalexperience in power plant engineering and contractor management and executionof international projects- Support the organization with your specialistknowledge in Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) systems with experience inEPC (Engineering, Procurement/Fabrication, Erection/Commissioning) market orwith Boiler/HRSG contractors- You will bring knowledge of materials, welding,mechanical processing and dimensioning of respective parts, specialistknowledge of associated codes and standards for HRSGs, linked with experiencewith document and engineering data management tools and data bases- Self-motivation with high energy drive and businesssense and capability of multitasking, with excellent organizational skillswhile assuring a high-quality work process and willingness for business travelswith international contacts (Minimum 50% travel is required)- Excellent English skills compared with interculturalsensitivity, to work in (virtual) international teams and with internationalsuppliers.About the TeamWe are part of Siemens Energy's TI-CP (Compressors) organization,specializing in the management of projects and technical support for processcompressors.
