Work is performed in a fast paced environment within tight time constraints.ResponsabilitiesResponsibility 1: Product DesignLead 3D modeling, design changes and makes sure CAD Engineer creates drawings using customer CAD system data banking standards.Acts as interface with suppliers, model shops and customer to ensure best possible design.Considers manufacturing and assembly concerns when designing.Attends meetings on design issues and update files and directories.Release drawings / math data to suppliers for the manufacture of tooling, prototypes, components and assembly aids associated with the program.Release drawings / math data to the customer per customer's standards.Responsible to ensure design meets OPmobility General Product StandardsResponsibility 2: Product Development and ValidationResponsible for DFMEA, DVP&R;, BOM, and Engineering timeline including action plans for issue resolution.Direct the manufacture, assembly and validation of prototype parts.Controls prototype parts and materials.Coordinates use of parts between lab teams, customer, and outside testing supplier.Interface with other Development groups (Components, Materials, Process and Systems)
