Role: Senior HSE Manager - Ultra-Luxury Resort & Private Community
Location: Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Mexico
Salary: MXN $80,000 - MXN $90,000 base salary per month + bonus + incentives + benefits
A leading international real estate and resort ownership group is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Manager for a major luxury residential and hospitality development in Cabo, Mexico.
This is a senior, site-focused position responsible for Health, Safety & Environmental performance across five active construction sites, with further projects in the development pipeline.
The current programme includes luxury condominium buildings, private residences and a significant beach club expansion incorporating a new pool, spa, theatre, wellness facilities, restaurants and other amenities.
You will have the authority and backing to stop works where safety standards are not being met and will be expected to take a proactive approach to identifying risks before they result in incidents.
Key responsibilities:
HSE and environmental oversight across multiple concurrent construction sites
Regular inspections, audits and identification of unsafe conditions




Ensuring contractors and subcontractors comply with required HSE standards
Challenging General Contractors where standards fall short and stopping works where necessary
Developing preventative measures through effective planning and risk assessment
Driving a strong safety culture throughout the development
Ensuring compliance with applicable Mexican HSE regulations and requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 8–10 years' construction HSE experience
Strong practical experience working directly on active construction sites
Developer or main contractor backgrounds will both be considered
Experience on complex vertical construction is particularly attractive, including high-rise residential, commercial, hospitality or healthcare projects
Strong working knowledge of Mexican construction safety and environmental requirements
Relevant Mexican HSE/safety qualifications or certifications
A confident, authoritative personality with the ability to challenge contractors and enforce standards
