In this role you will be responsible for leading engineering activities related to serial production seatbelt products, ensuring the successful implementation of product and process changes while maintaining quality, cost, and delivery targets. You will manage customer-driven design changes, internal product enhancements, and engineering modifications throughout the product lifecycle.

Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
- Lead the design, development, testing, validation, and release of production seatbelt systems, ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.
- Manage engineering changes through the product lifecycle, including the release of component, assembly, and customer drawings,



while maintaining all required engineering documentation.
- Serve as a key customer interface for product development activities, collaborating with Program Management and cross-functional teams to support successful product implementation and launch.
- Plan and execute prototype builds, DV/PV testing, benchmarking, and value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE) activities, analyzing test results and driving product improvements.
- Support cross-functional problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives by working closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Process, and Launch teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure successful production startup.

If you have/are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, with 2–5 years of experience in product design or engineering within the automotive industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of GD
