About the Role
Our client, a general technology company, is seeking a Senior Workday Integration Developer to build and support integrations between Workday HCM and the company's ERP and surrounding enterprise systems. This is one of the client's two most critical hires for its new Latin America team. Integration is the core of this role: you will work across EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and XSLT, with exposure to both the HCM and ERP/Finance sides of the landscape, and partner with business users and application teams in a multi-national, multi-vendor environment.
Location & Work Arrangement
This is a remote-first position open to candidates based in Mexico or elsewhere in Latin America. Candidates must be able to work onsite in Mexico City at least once per month, and to attend quarterly in-person team events there. Candidates based in Mexico (Mexico City preferred) are prioritized for roles on the full-time conversion track; candidates elsewhere in Latin America are welcome for contract engagements. Legal authorization to work in the country of residence is required.
Engagement Model
The client is building a long-term Latin America engineering and applications presence, and these roles are foundational hires for that team. The preferred structure is contract-to-hire: an initial contract engagement of six to twelve months, followed by conversion to a permanent role for successful contributors.



Direct full-time placement and longer-term independent contractor arrangements can be considered case by case. Compensation is competitive and based on seniority and skill set. Funding and headcount are approved, and start dates are immediate for candidates who are ready.
You will work day to day with US-based stakeholders and distributed teams in multiple regions, so fluent professional English and meaningful overlap with US business hours are required.
Key Responsibilities
Build integrations using EIB (inbound and outbound), Workday Studio, Core Connectors (Worker, Benefits), and XSLT.
Design and support integrations between Workday HCM and ERP / Finance systems, owning the data flows on both sides of the integration.
Apply strong knowledge of Workday HCM, including EIB, organizations, navigation, security, and custom reports.
Understand Workday objects and identify relationships between primary and related business objects, applying calculated fields appropriately.
Analyze as-is and to-be functions for given requirements, prepare documentation, and write test cases.
Interact with business users and cross-functional application teams.
Support the migration of integrations across tenants and environments.
Assist the team lead / project manager by compiling information from current systems, analyzing program requirements,



and ensuring delivery meets agreed timelines.
Contribute to the organization's Workday Prism Analytics data pipelines and reporting where applicable.
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in Workday HCM with a solid understanding of Workday concepts.
Experience in at least one end-to-end Workday HCM implementation.
Hands-on experience integrating Workday HCM with ERP / Finance systems, with an understanding of both the HCM and ERP sides of the integration.
Extensive hands-on experience with integrations, calculated fields, security, and migrations.
Strong understanding of EIB, Core Connector Worker, Core Connector Benefits, Workday Studio, navigation, search, security, and reporting.
Hands-on experience with XSLT.
Good understanding of ISU/ISSG, integration scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Strong coding, testing, implementation, debugging, and documentation skills.
Ability to communicate and articulate technical information clearly; excellent written and verbal English.
Nice to Have
Workday Prism Analytics experience (strongly valued — a long-standing open need).
MuleSoft or other integration platform (iPaaS) experience.
Broader Workday functional experience (Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Finance) in addition to integrations.
