About the opportunity
We are looking for a
Key Account Manager – Smart PV & Energy Storage
to develop strategic business opportunities within Mexico's Commercial & Industrial (C&I;) solar market.
This is an opportunity for an experienced commercial professional to work at the intersection of
Solar PV, Energy Storage (BESS) and digital power technologies
, developing relationships with key players across the Mexican renewable energy ecosystem.
The adecuado candidate combines strong business development capabilities with knowledge of the solar industry and an established network among
EPCs, developers, IPPs and/or industrial customers
.
You do not need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable discussing technical energy solutions and translating customer needs into business opportunities.
What you'll do Develop and manage strategic accounts within the
Commercial & Industrial solar market
. Identify and develop new opportunities for
Solar PV, Smart String Inverters and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
. Build and maintain relationships with
EPCs, developers, IPPs,



industrial customers and other key stakeholders
. Develop a strong pipeline of distributed-generation, self-consumption and C&I; energy projects. Understand customers' business and technical requirements and coordinate with Solution Engineering teams to develop competitive solutions. Lead commercial discussions, proposals and complex negotiations. Develop long-term relationships with decision-makers and C-level stakeholders. Monitor market trends, competitors and emerging opportunities within Mexico's solar and energy-storage ecosystem. Collaborate with technical, channel and internal teams to successfully convert opportunities into projects.
What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Commercial Management or a related field. Approximately
3–5 years of commercial, business development or key account experience within the solar/renewable energy industry
