Job Description SummaryProvide support on a broad range of technical projects within the TDI Air Starters Team.Job DescriptionProvide support on a broad range of technical projects within the TDI Air Starters Team.In this role, you will interact with a group of engineers with sound technical expertise in the area of Turbomachinery to solve some of the challenges that are present in our industrial commercial platforms.Essential Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance to other engineers assigned to support different legacy programs.- Document technical data generated to substantiate the analytical results consistent with engineering policies and procedures.- Execute with extensive guidance Finite Element structural analyses of air starters meeting business standards, practices, and program requirements.- Get a full understanding of the air starters and the physics behind them,





as you might be part of an effort to optimize the product through continuous improvement and cost reduction projects.- Participate as presenter of project status- Solve problems of limited scope and complexity regarding product performance and definition of different air starters families.- Analyze test data and reach conclusions and engineering recommendations.- Prepare engineering changes, presentations, and technical documentation to support technical discussions.- Ensure full compliance with business standards, practices, and procedures.Qualifications / Requirements- Must be actively enrolled in a university within a minimum period of 1 year of remaining classes before graduating.- BS Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering student or similar background- 30 to 40 available hours per week- Basic knowledge of Turbomachinery and Rotating machinery.- Mechanical analysis skills.- Programming skills- Demonstrated interpersonal skills.- Fundamental understanding of the design, test and analysis tools relevant to the function.- Proficiency in English language communicationDesired Characteristics- Knowledgeable in NX Unigraphics, ANSYS, or similar design software- Knowledgeable in Electrical Machines- Knowledgeable in Rotating Machinery and Turbomachinery- Knowledge in, C Sharp, Python coding v3 or superiorAdditional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No#J-*****-Ljbffr
