Your Role
As a
Backend Java Developer
at PALO IT, you'll lead the design and implementation of scalable backend systems for innovative digital solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality software, contribute to technical decisions, and mentor other developers.
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services using
Java 17+ and Spring Boot
.
Develop and maintain
RESTful APIs
, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and seamless integration with frontend systems.
Build and optimize
microservices architectures
, applying design patterns, clean architecture, and software engineering best practices.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Collaborate with
Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Tech Leads
to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
Ensure code quality through
code reviews, automated testing, clean code principles, and adherence to development best practices
.
Mentor and guide junior developers,



fostering continuous learning, technical excellence, and knowledge sharing.
Contribute to
R&D; projects and community initiatives
within PALO IT.
Who You Are
Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
.
4+ years of backend development experience
with Java.
Strong proficiency in
Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data
.
Solid experience with
RESTful API design and microservices architecture
.
Proficiency in
Agile methodologies
and experience with testing frameworks such as
JUnit and Mockito
.
Solid understanding of
SQL and NoSQL databases
, including technologies such as
PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
.
Experience with
event-driven architectures
using technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is a plus.
Experience with
cloud platforms
such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or IBM Cloud is a plus.
Experience with
Docker and Kubernetes
, including Helm, RBAC, and autoscaling, is a plus.
Familiarity with
CI/CD tools
such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab is a plus.
Experience with
observability tools
such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack is a plus.
Experience with
Apache Camel
or
WebFlux
is a plus.
Passionate about

Willingness to share knowledge and mentor other developers.
Fluent in English
