Job Description Position Objective As the EHS Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving Environmental, Health Safety programs, policies, and management systems.
You will ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate standards while safeguarding employees, contractors, company assets, and the environment through risk prevention, emergency preparedness, and continuous improvement initiatives What Challenges Will You Take On?
As our EHS leader, you will: Develop and implement industrial safety, occupational health, environmental protection, and risk management programs across the site.
Lead emergency preparedness and response programs, including drills, training, procedures, and crisis management plans.
Design and deliver EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and new hires, promoting a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
Coordinate internal emergency brigades and maintain relationships with external emergency response agencies and authorities.
Ensure full compliance with applicable environmental, health, safety, and occupational regulations to mitigate operational risks and avoid regulatory penalties.
Lead the identification, assessment, and control of physical, chemical, biological, and psychosocial workplace hazards.
Manage permits, licenses, and regulatory interactions with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
Coordinate audits of the EHS Management System and drive corrective and preventive actions.
Qualifications What Are We Looking For?
Education Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline .
Experience 6+ years of experience in Environmental, Health Safety within chemical, pharmaceutical, active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), or similar highly regulated manufacturing environments.
Proven experience managing industrial safety, occupational health, emergency response, and environmental compliance programs.
Experience working in organizations with global standards and regulatory requirements.
Advanced English level is a must.
Technical Knowledge Strong knowledge of Environmental, Health Safety regulations and compliance frameworks.
Expertise in risk assessment, hazard identification, incident prevention, and corrective action management.
Knowledge of Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Emergency Response, Environmental Management Systems, and Safety Management Systems.
Experience managing regulatory permits, inspections, and governmental compliance processes.
Proven ability to lead audits and maintain compliance with EHS standards and corporate policies.
Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
