Seeking Experienced Software Development Advisors (L3) for Remote Projects in Mexico We are looking for an experienced
Software Development Advisor (L3)
with at least
3 years of experience
in production support, incident management, application troubleshooting, and code-level debugging. This role is adecuado for professionals who are comfortable working with
Java or Python , Linux environments, CI/CD technologies, and complex production issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L3 support for complex production issues, including deep analysis, debugging, code-level fixes, and end-to-end validation.
Investigate incidents and drive resolution with internal stakeholders and engineering teams.
Act as an escalation point for complex support issues.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective and preventive actions.
Manage the incident lifecycle, including escalation, communication, tracking, and post-resolution activities.
Ensure SLA/SLO commitments are met and reduce recurring incidents.
Support SDLC operations, including compilation, builds, artifact management,



and software distribution.
Troubleshoot and maintain CI/CD pipelines, repositories, and build systems.
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
Support Linux-based infrastructure and automate repetitive operational tasks.
Use scripting with Python, Java, Shell, or Perl for automation.
Work with configuration and automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Perform log analysis, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization using tools such as Splunk.
Work with relational databases and SQL queries.
Create technical documentation, runbooks, and code snippets for internal teams and clients.
Identify opportunities to automate recurring issues and leverage AI tooling.
Technical Skills Required:
3+ years of experience
in Software Development / Production Support.
Strong coding and debugging skills in
Java or Python .
