We’re hiring: Assistant Manager | Hengst Filtration México

We are looking for a strong and hands‑on Assistant Manager to join our growing manufacturing operation in Salinas Victoria, Actual León .

This position will report directly to the Plant Manager and Key responsibilities include:

- Support the Plant Manager in the daily management of plant operations.
- Monitor KPIs and track operational improvement results.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities between Production, Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, Engineering, HR, and Finance.
- Lead problem‑solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote Lean Manufacturing, 5S, standardization, and operational excellence.
- Support customer requirements and on‑time delivery performance
- Develop and engage teams while fostering a strong performance‑driven culture
- Support audits and internal/external compliance activities
- Act as the Plant Manager’s key operational partner and provide leadership coverage when required.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, or related field
- Fluent English – mandatory




- Experience in manufacturing operations, preferably within the automotive industry
- Leadership experience in a plant or production environment
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, KPIs, continuous improvement, and quality systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multicultural, and growing organization
