An Import/Export Coordinator is responsible for managing the international movement of materials and finished goods while ensuring compliance with trade regulations and company policies. The role coordinates shipments, prepares and reviews import/export documentation, and works closely with customs brokers, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Key responsibilities include monitoring customs clearance activities, resolving logistics issues, maintaining accurate trade records, and ensuring compliance with customs laws and trade agreements such as USMCA/T-MEC. The coordinator also tracks shipment status, communicates updates to stakeholders, and supports audits related to import/export operations.
