Remote role Job Summary

We are looking for an On Base API Developer with strong experience in Hyland On Base, API integrations, and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in building, enhancing, and supporting integrations between On Base and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs,. NET/C#, SQL, and workflow/document management solutions.

This role requires a solid understanding of On Base architecture, document workflows, Unity/API integrations, and backend application development. The candidate should be comfortable working with business, QA, infrastructure, and support teams.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and support On Base integrations with internal and external enterprise applications. Build and maintain APIs/services for document upload, retrieval, indexing, workflow actions, and metadata exchange. Develop solutions using On Base Unity API, Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, and related integration tools. Configure and customize On Base workflows, document types, keywords, forms, and lifecycle processes. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand document management and workflow requirements. Integrate On Base with systems such as ERP, CRM, core business platforms, and third-party applications. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide application support. Write and optimize SQL queries/stored procedures for data validation, reporting, and backend integration needs. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, deployment, and release support. Ensure security, scalability, and performance of On Base-related integrations. Maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, and support guides. Work closely with Dev Ops/infrastructure teams for deployments and environment support.



Mandatory Skills 8+ years in Hyland On Base development/integration Hyland On Base certification Strong experience with On Base API development using: Unity API On Base Web Services REST/SOAP integrations Hands-on experience in On Base configuration: Document Types Keywords Workflows User Groups/Roles Forms / Unity Forms Strong programming experience in C#/. NET Good knowledge of SQL Server / Oracle and writing complex SQL queries Experience in building and consuming APIs and web services Strong understanding of document management systems (DMS), enterprise content management (ECM), and workflow solutions Experience with troubleshooting, debugging, and production support Experience with On Base Workflow, Work View, Unity Forms, and DIP/Document Import Processor Familiarity with support models including incident, problem, and change management Exposure to document imaging, scanning, OCR, and records management Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills Good To Have Skills Knowledge of On Base administration and environment management Experience integrating On Base with other enterprise systems Familiarity with Windows Services, IIS, batch jobs, and middleware integration Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Experience with Git, Azure Dev Ops, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines Basic understanding of authentication/security protocols such as OAuth2, SSO, LDAP, SAML Experience in performance tuning and optimization of On Base solutions Experience in insurance, healthcare, banking, or financial services domains Experience with microservices architecture About NTT DATA
