SAP Technical ABAP Consultant Job Description SAP ABAP RAP Consultant Employment Type: Full-time Experience: 5–12 years overall ABAP; 3–6 years hands-on RAP & BTP Function: Technology – SAP Development (ABAP Cloud / RAP / Fiori) About the Role We’re looking for an experienced SAP ABAP RAP Consultant to design and build cloud-ready, scalable applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). You will develop OData services (V2/V4), design Fiori elements apps, and integrate with SAP S/4HANA (public, private, or on prem), following clean-core and modern DevOps practices.



________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Develop modern ABAP Cloud solutions using RAP (managed/unmanaged) with entities, behaviors, and EML (Entity Manipulation Language). • Build and expose OData services (V2/V4) via Service Definition and Service Binding; ensure versioning, paging, filtering, and draft handling. • Design Fiori elements applications (List Report/Object Page/Analytical List Page) consuming RAP services; collaborate on annotations (UI, ValueHelps). • Work on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry/Kyma) for cloud developments; configure destinations, XSUAA, principal propagation, and Cloud Connector where needed.
