A leading Chinese company in metalworking manufacturing is looking for talent for its plant in Marín, Actual León.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze and standardize production processes in areas of painting, machining, and assembly of metal structures. Implement improvements that reduce waste, downtime, rework, and process variation. Validate and maintain optimal conditions in painting lines (curing, application, pretreatment, etc.)

2. Provide technical support to machining processes (CNC, drills, milling machines), ensuring precision and compliance with tolerances.

3. Collaborate with the quality area to resolve non-conformities, perform root cause analysis, and establish corrective/preventive actions.

4. Participate in the design and improvement of fixtures, tooling and special devices to ensure repeatability. Perform process capacity analyses (CP, CPK) and time and movement studies.

5. Develop and update work instructions, operation sheets, and technical documentation.

6. Train operational staff in process standards and best practices.

7. Coordinate together with maintenance the validation of new equipment or layout changes.

8. Comply with the procedures, instructions and controls established in the GHS.

Identify and participate in the control of Environmental Aspects of their daily activities.

10. Verify the correct segregation and disposal of waste.

11. Efficient use of natural and material resources (energy, water, gas, raw materials, chemicals, etc.)

12. Prevent the generation of pollution caused by spills, leaks or unnecessary emissions.

13. Report any incident or situation that may generate an environmental impact

14. Participate in environmental training and activities.

15. Comply with industrial safety, environmental, and personal protective equipment (PPE) regulations during all operations.

16. Collaborate with the production team to meet delivery times and established quality standards.

Qualifications

1. Industrial Engineer or equivalent

2. 3 years of experience

3. Fluent in english

4. Electrostatic or liquid painting processes (ideally on large parts or chassis).

5. Operation and improvement of CNC machining processes.

6. Quality statistical tools (SPC, AMEF, PPAP, 8 D, Ishikawa).
