About the Role

Impact Advisors Mexico is seeking an Associate Director, Revenue Cycle Management Services (RCMS) to help lead and scale our nearshore Revenue Cycle Management capabilities in Mexico.

This leadership role requires strong expertise in U.S. healthcare revenue cycle operations, experience developing high-performing teams, and the ability to work effectively with senior leaders, clients, and cross-functional teams.

The Associate Director will provide operational leadership, revenue cycle expertise, and delivery guidance to support U.S.-based healthcare organizations while helping develop the next generation of RCMS leaders within Mexico.

Working closely with U.S.-based practice leadership, this role will help establish delivery standards, strengthen team capabilities, drive operational performance, and support strong client outcomes.

What You'll Do

Revenue Cycle Leadership & Expertise

· Serve as a subject matter expert across the U.S. healthcare revenue cycle.

· Provide guidance across key revenue cycle functions, including patient access, registration, insurance verification, authorization, charge capture, coding, billing, claims management, payment posting, denials management, accounts receivable, and revenue integrity.

· Identify opportunities to improve operational performance, productivity, financial outcomes, and client satisfaction.

· Support the development and standardization of RCMS methodologies, tools, and leading practices.

· Partner with U.S. RCMS leaders to transfer institutional knowledge and industry expertise to Mexico-based teams.

· Stay informed about U.S. healthcare revenue cycle trends, reimbursement changes, and industry practices.

Client Engagement & Delivery Leadership

· Lead revenue cycle consulting, managed services, optimization, and performance improvement engagements.

· Build and maintain trusted relationships with client executives, operational leaders, and internal stakeholders.

· Ensure high-quality delivery aligned with engagement scope, timelines, budgets, and client expectations.

· Monitor engagement performance and proactively address risks, issues, and escalations.

· Present findings, recommendations, and operational insights to client and internal leadership teams.

· Support business development activities, including solution design, proposals, presentations, and client discussions.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

· Lead, coach, and develop managers, team leads, consultants, analysts, and operational staff.





· Build revenue cycle domain expertise within the Mexico leadership team.

· Establish clear performance expectations and accountability measures.

· Provide coaching, mentoring, and career development support.

· Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retention activities.

· Partner with leadership to develop skills assessments, competency models, and career development frameworks.

· Identify and develop future leaders for expanded responsibilities.

· Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, accountability, and operational excellence.

Operational Management

· Support workforce planning, capacity forecasting, and staffing alignment.

· Ensure teams are effectively utilized and aligned with client demand.

· Establish and monitor key performance indicators and service-level commitments.

· Develop and implement action plans to address quality, productivity, and performance gaps.

· Support onboarding, training, documentation, and knowledge management programs.

· Collaborate with U.S. leadership to develop a sustainable and high-performing nearshore delivery model.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Partner with healthcare technology, EHR, analytics, and operational teams to support client objectives.

· Collaborate across Impact Advisors service lines to identify opportunities for integrated solutions.

· Share knowledge and leading practices across teams and leadership groups.

· Represent Impact Advisors Mexico in leadership meetings, client engagements, and organizational initiatives.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Health Information Management, or a related field.

· 7+ years of experience in U.S. healthcare revenue cycle operations, consulting, managed services, or related leadership roles.

· Demonstrated experience leading professional teams, managers, supervisors, or operational workgroups.

· Experience working with U.S. hospitals, health systems, physician organizations, or healthcare consulting firms.

· Proven experience managing client relationships and delivery outcomes.

· Strong understanding of the end-to-end U.S. healthcare revenue cycle.

· Professional fluency in English.

· Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

· Strong organizational, analytical,



and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Revenue Cycle Expertise

Strong knowledge of revenue cycle functions, including:

· Patient access and registration

· Eligibility and insurance verification

· Prior authorization

· Health information management

· Coding

· Charge capture

· Revenue integrity

· Claims and billing

· Denials management

· Payment posting

· Accounts receivable

· Patient financial services

· Revenue cycle analytics

Experience monitoring and improving revenue cycle performance metrics, such as:

· Days in Accounts Receivable (A/R)

· Denial rates

· Clean claim rates

· Cash collections

· Net collection rates

· Discharged Not Final Billed (DNFB)

· Productivity

· Quality

Familiarity with U.S. payer requirements, reimbursement processes, and healthcare regulatory considerations is required.

Leadership & Consulting Skills

· Proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams.

· Strong coaching, mentoring, and leadership capabilities.

· Ability to translate complex operational concepts into practical guidance and training.

· Strong executive communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in consulting, shared services, business process outsourcing, or nearshore delivery environments.

· Experience with Epic Revenue Cycle, Oracle Health, MEDITECH, athenahealth, or another major U.S. healthcare revenue cycle platform.

· Experience supporting healthcare technology implementations, optimization, or transformation initiatives.

· Spanish fluency.

Language & Location

· Professional fluency in English is required for communication with U.S.-based clients, leaders, and stakeholders.

· Spanish fluency is preferred but not required.

· This position follows a hybrid work arrangement based in Mexico City or Monterrey, Mexico.

· Candidates must be able to work from the designated office location according to the company's hybrid work requirements.

· Periodic travel within Mexico and to the United States may be required based on business needs.
