we are looking for a strategic hr director to lead human resources across mexico for a regional executive team.

key responsibilities

- design and implement hr strategies across recruitment, training, retention, compensation, payroll, labor relations, and organizational development, aligned with general objectives.
- ensure full compliance with mexican labor laws and regulations.
- lead workforce and talent planning to meet current and future staffing needs across mexico.
- manage headcount and personnel expense budgets, balancing labor costs, productivity, and strategic goals across facilities.
- act as a strategic advisor to the executive team, strengthening hr philosophy and supporting effective decision making and business sustainability.
- define, monitor, and manage hr kpis to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
- develop strong relationships with trade unions and lead collective bargaining negotiations at unionized sites.
- promote a collaborative, compliant, and high performance work climate aligned with company values.

profile

education

- bachelor’s degree in human resources,



business administration, labor law, organizational psychology, or related fields.
- master’s degree (mba, organizational development, talent management) preferred.

experience & competencies

- senior-level hr leadership experience in multi-site, industrial, or regional environments.
- strong expertise in mexican labor law and labor relations, including union negotiations.
- proven capability in change management and strategic hr leadership.
- strong analytical skills with experience managing hr metrics and executive reporting.
- excellent executive communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
