Role Description The Chief Operational Officer (COO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Mexico City, Mexico, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational performance and execution across the company. This role leads operations strategy, designs scalable processes, and ensures alignment between product, technology, finance, and commercial teams. The COO will monitor key operational metrics, optimize workflows for payment processing and digital commerce solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support secure, efficient, and compliant service delivery.





Responsibilities include managing cross-functional teams, guiding resource allocation, overseeing vendor and partner relationships, and supporting long-term business planning and expansion. The COO will also collaborate with senior leadership to define operational priorities, mitigate risk, and support sustainable growth across Mexico, North America, and Latin America.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management and Business Planning, with experience scaling processes in a technology or fintech environment.
- Strong Analytical Skills combined with solid Finance and Budgeting capabilities to manage costs, forecast growth, and support strategic decisions.
- Proven leadership experience overseeing cross-functional teams, with a focus on performance management, collaboration, and operational excellence.
- Background in payments, financial services, or digital commerce, including familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and risk management requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and geographies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an asset.
- Fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English to support regional and international collaboration.
