We are looking for a Lead Android Developer to build and evolve high-quality native mobile apps with a strong focus on Android while collaborating closely across mobile platforms. You will shape architecture, raise engineering standards, and mentor others.

Responsibilities

- Design Android applications using Kotlin to deliver high-quality features
- Define mobile architecture decisions that improve scalability, maintainability, and performance
- Write clean, testable, well-documented code aligned with engineering standards
- Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering to plan and implement new features
- Review code to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices
- Build unit tests and expand automated test coverage to improve reliability
- Troubleshoot defects, stability issues, and performance bottlenecks
- Monitor app performance and improve quality and user experience over time
- Support CI/CD processes to enable efficient and reliable releases




- Mentor junior engineers and provide actionable technical feedback
- Partner with iOS engineers to align architecture, user experience, and development practices

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience developing and delivering native mobile applications with strong Android focus
- Lead-level mentorship experience providing technical guidance and influencing engineering standards
- Agile delivery experience working in iterative development cycles with cross-functional teams
- Strong Android SDK knowledge and Android development best practices
- Advanced Kotlin and Java skills for production Android development
- Solid Android networking knowledge and mobile performance optimization skills
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2) for effective collaboration

Nice to have

- CI/CD experience for mobile release pipelines
