We are looking for a Lead Automation Tester in Python to guide QA across the AAA game development lifecycle, blending deep automation skills with technical leadership. You will shape test strategies, strengthen automation frameworks, and partner with engineering and production to keep quality high.

Responsibilities

- Develop test strategies and plans across the AAA game development lifecycle
- Set technical goals and priorities to ensure every feature reaches AAA quality standards
- Maintain automated frameworks and performance tools to deliver broad test coverage across platforms
- Identify bottlenecks and optimize overall game health
- Lead daily testing with regression and manual playthroughs to uncover and troubleshoot complex bugs
- Manage the defect lifecycle and collaborate with developers to resolve high-priority issues
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to align on technical requirements
- Act as a bridge between the game studio and the Tech and QA teams to balance integral standards with local requirements
- Translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders to keep project momentum
- Coach a small technical team on industry tools and QA best practices
- Model technical growth and implementation quality through mentorship and leading by example

Requirements

- Proven track record with 5+ years of professional experience in software testing
- Hands-on experience of 1+ years in a testing role emphasizing automated testing and/or scripting
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Working knowledge of C++




- Solid background using test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or JUnit
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

- Experience testing AAA games across multiple phases of the game development lifecycle
- Broad, deep exposure to First Person Shooter and/or Action RPG titles
- Familiarity with commercial game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
- Experience with CI/CD systems such as TeamCity, Jenkins, or Horde
- Knowledge of Test Case Management tools such as QMetry or TestRail
- ISTQB or similar certification
- Working knowledge of Java, C#, Bash, Lua, PowerShell, etc.
