Overview the position The Sales Planning Specialist is responsible for transforming sales and market data into strategic business insights that drive commercial decision-making and business growth. This role analyzes sales performance, dealer network KPIs, market trends, and industry intelligence to identify opportunities, support forecasting activities, and enhance overall business performance. The position collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop reports, dashboards, and actionable recommendations that contribute to achieving sales objectives and strengthening Kia's competitive position in the automotive market.

Typical tasks

- Analyze sales performance, market trends, and dealer network KPIs to identify business opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
- Develop, maintain, and automate reports, dashboards, and analytical tools using Excel and Power BI to provide actionable business insights.
- Monitor automotive industry performance, competitor activities, and market intelligence data to support commercial planning and forecasting initiative.
- Evaluate dealer network performance through KPI tracking and data analysis, identifying areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
- Generate data-driven recommendations and presentations for management,



enabling informed business decisions and sales strategy development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting processes, ensure data accuracy, and support business planning activities.
- Prepare and submit sales and market information to external organizations while ensuring data integrity and compliance with reporting requirements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience (+5 years) in Sales Planning, Business Intelligence, Market Intelligence, Data Analysis, or similar analytical roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including reporting, modeling, and data analysis.
- Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Knowledge of sales performance metrics, market analysis, and business planning processes.
- Ability to work with large datasets and identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively share findings with stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Experience in the automotive industry and knowledge of SAP are considered a plus.
