About the Role Dandy is hiring an Operations Manager to design, scale, and optimize the systems that power our manufacturing network. This role sits on our central Strategy Operations team and is focused on ensuring every order ships on time by building scalable solutions that optimize labor, equipment, and system orchestration. You’ll be responsible for creating the infrastructure to assign 100% of labor, achieve 100% OEE visibility on the floor, ensure 100% of orders and labor are scheduled through our system, and enable 24/7 machine utilization through demand smoothing strategies. You will work cross-functionally with Data, Product, and Operations leaders to translate business needs into system requirements, and then partner to design, launch, and optimize the architecture that drives execution. This is a high-impact role that will unlock scale, predictability, and efficiency in our manufacturing operations. What You'll Do Build scalable systems: Design and roll out solutions to fully allocate labor, track OEE, and ensure all orders and labor are scheduled by system logic. Drive on-time delivery: Implement strategies and tools that ensure every order is scheduled, resourced, and delivered on time. Own architecture & strategy: Partner with Product and Data to define system requirements, align on architecture decisions, and roll out enhancements. Ensure visibility & accountability: Lead dashboard builds of real-time insights that connect labor, equipment utilization, and scheduling performance to business outcomes. Operationalize improvements: Diagnose bottlenecks, design solutions, and lead pilots/rollouts to close gaps. Cross-functional leadership: Act as the connective tissue between Strategy Operations, Product, Data, and Manufacturing, ensuring system architecture reflects operational realities and future scale needs. What We're Looking For 6+ years in operations, manufacturing, or systems-focused roles (consulting, strategy, or product ops experience a plus). Strong program/project management skills with experience delivering cross-functional system rollouts. Experience designing and implementing systems for scale (ERP/MES, scheduling, resource allocation). Strong communicator who can translate operational needs into system requirements and influence cross-functional partners. Self-starter with high ownership, detail orientation, and ability to drive clarity in ambiguous environments. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Business or closely related field. Bonus Points For:
