AUTOMOTIVE MANUFACTURING SPECIALIST

Seoyon E-Hwa Automotive Mexico is looking for an Automotive Manufacturing Specialist to join our Manufacturing Engineering team at the Kia industrial complex in Pesquería, Nuevo León.

This is primarily an office-based technical, administrative, and project coordination position. The role is focused on manufacturing process improvement, project planning, data analysis, documentation, supplier coordination, schedule management, and systematic follow-up.

We are not specifically looking for a machine designer, maintenance technician, or robot programmer. Automation, equipment fabrication, and technical setup are mainly performed by specialized suppliers. The successful candidate should have enough technical understanding to define requirements, review proposals, coordinate suppliers, verify results, and manage projects through completion.

POSITION PURPOSE (포지션 목적)

Support the Manufacturing Engineering Team Leader and the department by organizing and managing improvement projects, new-model preparation, automation initiatives, equipment and jig projects, production data, schedules, reports, and cross-functional action items.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (주요 업무)

- Support new vehicle model launches and mass-production readiness
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes, cycle time, capacity, manpower, productivity, quality, line balance, and layout
- Identify process bottlenecks and coordinate corrective and improvement actions
- Prepare and manage project schedules, action plans, progress reports, meeting minutes, and follow-up lists
- Track open issues and assigned actions until they are fully completed
- Collect and analyze production data and prepare KPI, CAPA, cost, investment,



and management reports using Excel and PowerPoint
- Prepare process standards, work instructions, layouts, specifications, presentations, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Materials, Logistics, Purchasing, and other departments
- Manage external suppliers for equipment, jigs, fixtures, inspection systems, racks, packaging containers, pallets, and automation projects
- Define project requirements, review specifications and quotations, monitor schedules, and verify installation and final performance
- Plan future automation opportunities and prepare practical improvement concepts and implementation plans
- Support equipment and line installation projects from planning through validation and stabilization
- Manage packaging container and pallet specifications, fabrication, modification, repair, maintenance, and continuous improvement
- Support communication, documentation, and project execution between local and Korean teams
- Visit the production floor as needed to verify actual conditions, collect data, and confirm improvement results

QUALIFICATIONS (자격 요건)

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in manufacturing engineering, process improvement, production management, industrial engineering, or project coordination




- Automotive manufacturing experience is preferred
- Strong ability to organize multiple projects, priorities, schedules, and action items
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, data analysis, reporting, and documentation skills
- Ability to analyze process problems, identify root causes, coordinate responsible parties, and follow through until closure
- Understanding of assembly processes, equipment, jigs, fixtures, layouts, automation, and technical specifications
- Technical knowledge sufficient to communicate effectively with equipment and automation suppliers
- Strong communication, coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Spanish fluency and working-level English preferred

We are looking for a structured, responsible, and detail-oriented professional who combines manufacturing knowledge with strong office, project management, and follow-up capabilities.

The idóneo candidate can understand what is happening in production, translate problems into clear improvement plans, organize data and documentation, coordinate internal teams and suppliers, manage schedules and priorities, and provide reliable support to the Manufacturing Engineering Team Leader.

This is not a role centered on directly repairing machines or programming robots. Technical understanding is important, but planning, process improvement, coordination, documentation, reporting, and completion of assigned actions are the primary responsibilities.
