The Business Development

Manager, Mexico & Colombia is responsible for identifying, developing, and executing commercial growth opportunities that expand Ocean Spray's branded business across Latin America, with primary focus on Mexico and Colombia. This role will drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition, market expansion, strategic partnerships, channel development, and commercialization initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines strong business development expertise with a deep understanding of Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), retail dynamics, and distributor-led markets. This individual will proactively identify untapped growth opportunities, develop compelling business cases, negotiate commercial agreements, and build strategic partnerships that increase brand presence, household penetration, and profitable growth.

Commercial Growth & Business Development

- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new revenue opportunities across Mexico and Colombia.
- Develop and manage a robust pipeline of growth opportunities including new customers, channel expansion, strategic partnerships, licensing agreements, co-branding initiatives, and new market entry opportunities.
- Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with prospective customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Build business cases and growth plans that drive profitable sales and long-term market expansion.
- Monitor consumer, retail, and competitive trends to identify new opportunities for Ocean Spray brands.

Customer & Partner Development

- Establish and grow executive-level relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint business plans that deliver sustainable growth and market share expansion.
- Drive customer engagement through annual business planning, performance reviews, and growth initiatives.




- Partner closely with distributors and customers to accelerate distribution, improve execution, and increase consumer demand.

Commercial Strategy & Financial Management

- Develop channel strategies and go-to-market plans that support long-term business growth.
- Conduct pricing, profitability, and financial analyses to support commercial decision-making.
- Manage trade investments and commercial spending to maximize return on investment.
- Track and evaluate business performance against revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
- Recommend corrective actions and growth initiatives based on market and customer insights.

Cross-Functional Leadership

- Partner with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Category Management, and Sales teams to execute growth plans.
- Support product launches, innovation initiatives, and commercialization efforts across key markets.
- Influence internal stakeholders and external partners to align around growth priorities and business objectives.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, International Business, or related field.
- 7 years of experience within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Food & Beverage, Beverage, Consumer Health, or related branded consumer industries.
- Proven experience in Business Development, Commercial Management, Customer Development, Key Account Management, Trade Marketing, or Sales Leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, market expansion, or strategic partnership development.
- Experience working with distributors, retailers, and commercial partners in Latin America.
- Strong financial acumen, including pricing, profitability, and business case development.
- Experience leading complex commercial negotiations and influencing executive stakeholders.
- Advanced Spanish and English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with multinational CPG organizations.




- Experience managing business across Mexico and/or Colombia.
- Experience launching new products, entering new markets, or building emerging businesses.
- Experience working with major retailers, distributors, or foodservice customers.
- Experience in beverage, food, snack, confectionery, or consumer packaged goods categories.
- Portuguese language skills.

Education:

Bachelor's or University Degree (Required) Master's Degree (Preferred) Work Experience:
