About the Role

We are looking for a finance and analytics professional to help carry a full lead-to-cash rollout on Salesforce across the finish line. In this 12-month contract, you will serve as a bridge between business finance stakeholders and the technical development team, testing, validating, and reconciling a finance technology rollout that includes AI capabilities. You will also make sure data lands in the new platform completely and correctly and that the financial reports it produces can be trusted.

This position is rooted in accounting and analysis rather than development or configuration, and it is well suited to a proactive professional with a strong grasp of US GAAP who enjoys investigating data and is glad to take on whatever the project needs next.

Responsibilities

- Confirm that every in-scope record is moved into Salesforce fully and without errors
- Investigate data quality problems, determine their root cause, and help clean up data both before and after the migration
- Compare legacy system data against the new platform to verify that nothing is missing or misrepresented




- Plan and carry out testing of migrated data and new lead-to-cash workflows, including user acceptance testing
- Record testing outcomes, log any defects found, and follow each issue until it is resolved
- Help verify that revenue recognition is being applied correctly to transactions in the new system
- Test and validate finance processes and outputs across the rollout, including functionality that uses AI
- Escalate issues and inconsistencies to both the business finance team and the technical development team, and follow up until they are addressed
- Examine system-generated finance reports to ensure they are complete and accurate
- Trace reported numbers back to their underlying source data and raise any inconsistencies
- Support ongoing reporting needs throughout the implementation
- Help ensure financial reporting is consistent with proper accounting treatment
- Participate in sprint ceremonies within an Agile delivery model and track assigned work in Azure DevOps
- Work closely with business stakeholders, finance and accounting teams, and technical developers to keep deliverables on track
- Adapt to shifting project priorities and take on additional assignments as needed

Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience as an analyst, accountant, or auditor
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including debits and credits and how transactions move through the financial statements
- Working knowledge of US GAAP or an equivalent accounting framework
- Hands-on experience working with Salesforce
- Background in data validation, reconciliation, or data migration
- Exceptional attention to detail with an investigative,



accuracy-focused approach
- Proven ability to work independently, set your own priorities, and deliver with minimal supervision
- Proactive approach to identifying problems and moving work forward
- Comfortable working with both business stakeholders and technical teams
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

Bonus / Soft Skills
- Revenue recognition experience, such as ASC 606
- Prior involvement in a system implementation, especially lead-to-cash, quote-to-cash, or order-to-cash
- User acceptance testing experience
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, or a willingness to learn it
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Exposure to AI-enabled finance or accounting tools
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field (an accounting degree is not required)
- Adaptable, team-oriented attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote setting
- Able to translate between finance and technical language when explaining issues
